Struck in silver with a plain edge. William Barber's seated liberty design is depicted on the obverse beneath subtle toning. The reverse design is more or less the same one used for regular issue seated dimes in 1870. With only a handful in existence, this pattern dime is an extremely rare find. Housed in an old green PCGS holder and CAC approved.
